Tomorrow/Today is Palm Sunday/Passion Sunday. At 8.00 a.m., we will have the blessing of palms at the basketball court followed by procession to the church and thereafter Holy Eucharist. In the evening, there will be the Way of the Cross animated by the Legion of Mary at 5.00 p.m. followed by Veronica’s song and Holy Eucharist.

The English Bible Cell will meet tomorrow/today after the evening Mass.

Lenten Confessions will be held during this week on 10th, 11th and 12th April from 6.30 p.m. to 8.30 p.m.

13th April is Maundy Thursday. At 7.30 p.m. we will have the Celebration of the Lord’s Supper on the school ground, entrance is from Gate no. 4. Parking of vehicle from Gate no. 3 will close 15 minutes before the start of the Mass. The Holy Eucharist will be followed by Adoration at the Altar of Repose. You are welcome to join your respective zone for Adoration in our school Hall, the timing being:

 

Gorai – I, II, III & Chikoowadi                           9.00 – 10.00 pm

Babhai, Eksar & L T Road                                 10.00 – 10.30 pm

Yogi North, Yogi South & Vazira                      10.30 – 11.00 pm

Old MHB, New MHB & Jayraj Nagar               11.00 – 11.30 pm

Youth & General Patronage                                11.30 – 12.00 am

 

The entire Holy Week schedule is available at the religious book stall or the reception. This includes the schedule for the blessing of your homes after Easter Sunday.

Altar Servers both new and old will have their meeting on Thursday, 13th April.

Those who have appeared for their SSC exams last week and have not yet collected their Confirmation registration forms are requested to do so from the parish office. Last date for submission is 9th April.

Our parish summer club commences from 20th April at 3.30 p.m. till 25th May. This year there will be music and dance sessions included. Children can collect their Registration forms from the parish office.

Kindly look up the notice board for details of the following:-

  • Those who have appeared for their SSC/HSC exams and would like to acquire useful technical-trade skills can enroll for a month long training with Joseph Cardijn Technical School, Dadar
  • The Bible Committee is organizing a 10 day Bible course named ‘Journeying through the Old Testament’ from 19th April to 30th April.
  • Summer camps organized by Don Bosco, Matunga for children from 8th Std and 10th Std. to college and working youth.

 

The meetings of the Small Christian Communities during this week are as follows:-

Yogi North Zone – Monday, 10th April at the residence of Anthony Clement.

Gorai Zone – Monday, 10th April at the residence of Lancy Rodrigues.
